2013 is right around the corner, and that means we will be making some serious resolutions for this New Year. But how can we make sure these resolutions are realistic? And, how many should we make?
My advice is to write down all of your goals, and then prioritize them. From this list select the top three to work on.
A technique that always works is the S.M.A.R.T. technique. Why? Setting goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound are key to establishing concrete and achievable goals. And don’t forget to build in a reward system for hitting your target dates along with a support system of encouraging individuals . This will help you stay on track and motivated.
Now go ahead and make those resolutions and be transformed by the renewing of your mind! And remember, you can’t change your behavior if you can’t change your mind.
Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
